Seiko Kato, an artist based in Brighton, England, is renowned for her unique style of using found objects and ephemera. Her work is heavily influenced by Victorian medical books, etchings, encyclopedias, and other paraphernalia. With intricate cut-outs created by hand using nothing but a pair of tiny scissors, Seiko's work captures the macabre and surreal, while also exploring themes of life and death.
