From the Sun Mother, to a brave Comanche girl and a thoughtful Welsh couple, seven folk tales from across the globe share stories of living in harmony with the natural world. Spanning continents and ancient traditions the different tales are united through Anne Wilson's bold and simple illustrations. Following each story is a suggested hands-on activity encouraging a connection to nature and an ethos of sustainable living.
The Barefoot Book of Earth Tales received an accolade from the American Folklore Society.
